Play in Alice’s Wonderland – UK National Trust Site

on March 9, 2010 – 1:07 am

Alice in WonderlandThe new Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland was filmed in England at a UK National Trust site. The only “real” house that appeared in the film is the Antony House, an 18th century, family-owned mansion located in Torpoint in Cornwall. This year the Antony garden is being transformed in honor of the Walt Disney film.

To celebrate, the Antony House is offering a magical entrance to a beautiful oversized garden through its own “rabbit hole.” Here you will find a life-size chessboard for your own entertainment. True to Lewis Carroll’s story, there will also be Alice-inspired croquet games on Antony’s larger-than-life lawn and fairy tale-like Mad Hatter tea parties. Visit this National Trust site for more information.
