The Wide Brim Hat of the 20s

During the first years of the 1920s, the wide brim hat style of the Edwardian era continued to be chic. Parisian fashion houses designed hats with wide drooping brims that dropped dramatically at both sides. Ornamentation was reduced, often consisting of large groupings of ostrich feathers. Some crowns sat so low as to cover the eyebrows.
